Just recently completed, this lodge has the latest in accommodation comforts which easily accommodates eight guests comfortably. There are three guest rooms in addition to a large master suite that are available to you in our Alaska luxury lodge. The feel of the interior lodge is described as a “rustic elegance” with hard wood rustic floors mixed with high end furnishings mixed with turn of the century antiques and pictures. Each guestroom features its own unique theme and come with a private bathroom. While there may not be any Alaska five star hotels, you will be hard pressed to find any much nicer than Saltery Lodge.

A full surrounding deck overhangs the beach front and connects to our private dock. The Alaska luxury lodge connects to many paths and trails around the property.

The lodge sits on 62 acres which originally held an old salmon saltery and later a cannery. Remains can still be seen around the property of the Alaska luxury lodge. Over 95% of the property is bordered by the Tongass National Forest or by water. There are many trails on the property, and walking around the forest, you will find some trees that are simply enormous. Wildlife abounds on the property including birds, bears, salmon and marine mammals. Not many Alaska 5 star hotels have a campus like ours.

The lodge is controlled by a computer program we call “Karen”. Karen makes sure the Alaska luxury lodge is in good working operation at all times. There are over six miles of low voltage wires in the house to support the many computerized functions, including heat and lights. Karen responds to voice commands to make the lodge easy to control. We feel we are unique among other Alaska luxury lodges.
