The entire Saltery Lodge is rented to a single group at a time. You are getting an entire luxury lodge, 40' power catamaran, private chef, and hosts at your complete and undivided disposal. Compare to others to see that this is a very unique and exclusive package. Prices vary based on length of stay. The following rates assume a six person occupancy.

Regular stay includes the three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom.

• 5 night, 5 day stay - $4,100/person ($24,600 lodge rate)
• 6 night, 6 day stay - $4,950/person ($29,700 lodge rate)
• 7 night, 7 day stay - $5,800/person ($34,800 lodge rate)

Executive stay includes the three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and the 1,000 sq ft Master Suite with bathroom, steam shower, jacuzzi tub, private deck, sitting room and 2 flat screen TVs.

• 4 night, 4 day stay - $4,550/person ($27,300 lodge rate)
• 5 night, 5 day stay - $5,675/person ($34,050 lodge rate)
• 6 night, 6 day stay - $6,800/person ($40,800 lodge rate)
• 7 night, 7 day stay - $7,950/person ($47,700 lodge rate)

Because you are getting the entire lodge, our costs are virtually the same regardless if there are two people or six people. But we will offer a 10% discount for groups of four and a 20% discount for groups of two from the lodge rate prices. Special arrangements can be made for groups of 7-10. Please call for details.

These rates allow your group to experience:

• Fully guided charter fishing on Sarana
• Fully guided exploration on the property or on the water
• Fully guided tours around town in our van
• Transportation to any town excursions
• All meals cooked by our chef
• Daily maid service
• Transfer between the lodge and the Ketchikan International Airport
• Fish processing for your catch
• Local and state bed and sales taxes 

The rate does NOT include:

• Air transportation to/from Ketchikan
• Gratuities
• Alcoholic Beverages (See disclosures)
• Fishing Licenses (about $85)
• 3rd party excursions in Ketchikan
• Float Plane charters

Dates available this year start at July 1, 2009 and go through the end of September 2009. Contact us and make sure the dates you would like are not already booked.

• Yourself and a sense of adventure.
• Comfortable clothing.  Summer daytime temperatures average in the upper 60's, lower 70's.  Layers of clothing will help you regulate your own temperature.  Waterproof jackets are preferred. Full raingear is provided.
• Rain boots, hiking boots

Ketchikan International Airport (KTN) is about a 90 minute flight from Seattle (SEA). Alaska Airlines is the only carrier that serves the area and has several flights a day available. We can help you figure out the system of getting to Ketchikan and back. We will pick you up at the airport on your arrival date and drop you off on your departure date.

• Prices are subject to change, but will not change any confirmed bookings
• Weather in the summer is relatively mild, but can on rare occasions, be too stormy for excursions.  Safety comes first, and we may choose to cancel any daily excursion due to weather.  We will not be responsible for delays or loss due to weather or other acts of God.
• Southeast Alaska gets a fair amount of rain during the year, which is what makes the fishing good and the scenery beautiful. Average Max temperatures tend to be in the 60s to lower 70s. Layered clothing is best as it can go from rain to sunshine in minutes (and vice versa)
• While we take your safety extremely seriously, these types of trips are not without risk.  A waiver of liability will be required to be signed by all parties before arrival.  Saltery Lodge will not be held responsible for any loss or injury.
• A 40% Deposit is required withing 10 days to confirm booking.  The remaining amount is required within 60 days of your reservation. The deposit and the final payment are non-refundable. Trip insurance is recommended to cover any loss of payment due to unexpected circumstances.
• High speed internet and telephone service will be available
• The lodge and vessel are non-smoking, drug free facilities.
• If you are allergic to any food items, please let us know in advance of your arrival.
• Travel agents please contact us for additional information and commission rates.
• Saltery Lodge does not have an Alcohol Serving Permit. We cannot sell or serve you alcohol. You are welcome to purchase it in town or bring your own if you would like. For safety reasons, no intoxication will be allowed on any of our vessels or excursions.
