Our Platinum Package is for small groups less than six, who still want to the advantage of fully guided fishing, fine dining, and all the perks of the Saltery Lodge. Lose yourself at the lodge and welcome the experience of a lifetime. Enjoy fully guided fishing with safe and comfortable boats and accommodating captains. If you choose to do other excursions, let us know and we can make it happen. Come back after a great day of fishing and enjoy a sit down meal served to you with excellent presentation and complementary house wines.

When you step inside the lodge for the first time, you'll get it. You'll know that you're in a special place. Both the extraordinary luxury lodge and the 62 acres that it sits on are in a class of their own. Steeped in the history of the cannery that was before us, this lodge is a virtual museum/art gallery. Professionally decorated and equipped, you will agree, this is one of the finest lodges in Alaska.

Saltery Lodge is located near great Ketchikan fishing. For saltwater fishing, you will be going out on safe and comfortable boats. Depending on how many are at the lodge, you may be going on Linnaea, Jasmine or another boat at least 26 feet in length. Expect to catch salmon, halibut or other bottom fish and do it with a great personable captain.

We also have some great freshwater fishing available. Expect to catch rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, pink salmon and even an occasional steelhead! Escape to the wild and enjoy fresh water fishing while taking in the silence of the surroundings and majesty of its wildlife. Drop that fly into the clear waters and expect to smile when that fish grabs it and won't let go!

* If you have a group of at least four, then freshwater fishing is included in the package when we transport you by boat. If you have less than four, or if you want float plane flights to the lakes, there will be an up-charge.

Saltery Lodge is known for its dining and your experience is important to us. Our chef will create breakfasts that will give you energy for the day, lunches to carry you to dinner and evening meals to put a smile on your face. Gourmet lunches will be packed in coolers for your day's experience, giving you fuel for the mid day fishing. Plated and served with complementary house wines, it will taste as good as it looks. Your dinner will fill you up, but leave a little room for our delectable desserts.

Experience the Alaska that you have read about and dreamed about. Wildlife, fishing, beauty... its all there in full force. You will experience all these at Saltery Lodge. With its 62 acre backdrop, Saltery Lodge sits on the waterfront, with its southern exposure soaking up the daylight. A short ten minute walk in back of the lodge reveals its own salmon stream with a 40 ft waterfall. Bears will frequently be sighted from the lodge running up and down chasing the salmon in the stream. Bald eagles, seals, and seagulls call our huge beach home and work it on a daily basis.
