We transport you via van and boat to the remote Ketchikan waterfront lodge.
Watch for abundant wildlife, including eagles, bears, whales, seals, and hummingbirds in a private and relaxed atmosphere.
You arrive at the lodge ready to tour the remarkable facility and learn about the rich history that surrounds the lodge.
We have over 62 acres of private water front forest land, one of the largest private parcels in Ketchikan.
Take a short hike on this land to discover our hidden waterfall that is over forty feet tall back in the old growth forest.
In July through August, salmon run up our stream and you will be able to witness this great life cycle for yourself.
During this time, it is not uncommon to see black bears fishing for the salmon.
Discover the old graveyard, protected by centuries old hemlock, that illuminate the history that occurred on this property over 100 years ago when it was a thriving (and one of the largest) salmon canneries.
Tour trees that have grown through the bed frames abandoned by the workers of the cannery over 80 years ago.
After your hike, join us in your intimate dining room for a meal prepared by our chef.

Our kayaks are stable sit on top ocean kayaks.
They are so stable, even the lodge owner's seven and nine year old daughters had no problem paddling tandem or solo.
We have a mix of kayaks for different sizes and even a couple of tandem kayaks.
There is always some part of the bay that is completely protected, giving you a stress free kayaking experience.
In July through September, there are tens of thousands of salmon that migrate to our streams right near the lodge.
Paddle among them, and even fish for them if you would like!
Sometimes they jump so close to your kayak, them almost jump in your lap!
Other wildlife is available during your paddle, including potential bear sightings, seals, eagles, seals, and other wildlife.

Learn how to take great photographs with your camera, and feed hummingbirds by hand!
Attend this unique Ketchikan tour and learn the easy secrets that the pros use to create those fabulous photos, while being surrounded in remote Alaskan luxury.
Bring your own Digital SLR or if you only have a "point and click" camera, we can loan you a SLR for the excursion.
All skill levels are welcome.

Watch for wildlife along the way, including eagles, bears, whales, and seals.

Weather in the summer is relatively mild, but can on rare occasions, can be too stormy for excursions.
We may cancel the trip if the weather does not to permit us to conduct the tour safely.
