The Saltery Lodge is a 4,500 sq ft high-end Alaska fishing lodge built on the 62 acres of the old Loring Saltery and Cannery that is perfect for you to get away from the hustle of life.

We only book the lodge to a single group of six people or less, so you know you will get a personal, all-inclusive resort experience unrivaled by others.
Choose how you want to be guided by your third generation Ketchikan hosts: fishing, wildlife viewing and photography, exploring, or touring town.
Depending on the package chosen, you will have three or four bedrooms to split among the six of you.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Optionally, you can reserve the 1,000 sq ft, three level, Master Suite with Jacuzzi Tub and private deck overlooking the water!

Many activities are available to you, and your hosts will cater the activities to your tastes.
You can go on an floatplane flight or go fishing on our state of the art vessel.
You can walk through the old growth forest or you can beach comb at low tide.
You can go fresh water fishing or salt water fishing.
You can go tour Ketchikan or you can sit in the lodge and read a book while the sun sets.
You can self explore the bay and river or you can sit on the deck and listen to the waves.
When you are hungry, enjoy the all-inclusive fine cuisine from your personal gourmet chef in our wonderful dining room overlooking the water.
The vessel Sarana is a 40 foot power catamaran that is part of your Alaskan vacation.
Your host, a licensed USCG captain, will take you out on the beautiful waters of southeast Alaska near Ketchikan.
You can choose to go fishing for salmon, halibut and other fish. Or you can choose to go exploring the bays, rivers, and beaches that make up our beautiful archipelago.
Look down into the water and see schools of salmon, crabs, starfish, or other life in the sea.
