Fully guided fishing is of course one of the main activities, though we have many others that you might find enjoyable. When you're done with your excursions, enjoy our magnificent dining served fully plated and with complementary house wines. If you want most of the perks of the diamond package, but only have a few people that are going, consider our Platinum Package.

When you step inside the lodge for the first time, you'll get it. You'll be comfortable knowing that you have it all to yourselves, and that our staff will be fully focused on you. Enjoy the virtual museum/art gallery and professionally decorated interior that is inside the lodge, or stroll its 62 acres that is 95% surrounding by the Tongass National Forest. Discover our hidden waterfall with salmon struggling to complete their life cycle, or watch the bears while eating dinner in the dinning room. Once you arrive, you will agree, this is one of the finest lodges in Alaska.

Saltery Lodge is located near great Ketchikan fishing. For saltwater fishing, you will be fishing on Linnaea or Jasmine, which are two of the best charter vessels in the fleet. Expect to catch salmon, halibut or other bottom fish and do it with a professional and personable captain.

We also have some great freshwater fishing available. We can get you to some great streams where you can catch Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden, Pink Salmon and even an occasional Steelhead! Escape to the wild and enjoy fresh water fishing while taking in the silence of the surroundings and majesty of its wildlife. Cast that fly into the clear waters and expect to smile when that fish grabs it and won't let go!

* Freshwater fishing is included in the package when we transport you by boat. If you want float plane flights to the lakes, there will be an up-charge.

Saltery Lodge is known for its fine dining. Our chef will create breakfasts that will give you energy for the day, lunches to carry you to dinner and evening meals to put a smile on your face. Plated and served with complementary house wines, your meals will taste as good as they look. Your dinner will fill you up, but leave a little room for our delectable desserts.

With the Diamond Package, the lodge and its 62 acres are yours to enjoy exclusively. Experience the Alaskan wildlife, fishing our protected waters, and the beautiful 11 mile view in front of the lodge. Its all right there in full force, right outside the lodge windows. Bears can frequently be seen running up and down our salmon stream, looking for a meal. A short ten minute walk in back of the lodge reveals its own salmon stream with a 40 ft waterfall. Bald eagles, seals, and seagulls call our huge beach home and work it on a daily basis.
