Saltery Lodge can give you the ideal Alaska resort experience.
We offer a private and exclusive lodge located on our own 62 acres of land which is off the road system.
We only book the resort to a single group of people, so you and your group will have the entire 4,500 sq ft Alaska resort to yourself.
What makes this an incredible Alaska resort experience?
- Exclusive bookings: Our lodge is only booked to a single group of people. No shared bookings.
- Dedicated resort hosts: Scott and Angela Kemp, your hosts, will be fully focused on you and your desires. Scott, a third generation Alaskan from Ketchikan, knows how to show you a genuine Alaskan experience.
- Private Chef: You will have a private gourmet chef during your stay.
We will tailor the all-inclusive menus to your tastes.
- Dedicated staff: In addition to your hosts and private chef at the resort, we have two additional staff that will help you with whatever you need, everything from carrying your bags to baiting your hooks.
- Private luxury bedrooms with private bathrooms: Each of the four bedrooms has a different theme and their own private bathroom. The 1,000 sq ft Master Suite has a king bed. The other three bedrooms can be configured with two twin beds or a single queen.
- Large Great Room: Our large Great Room has two TVs, 12 foot ceilings and 8 ft tall windows that let you enjoy the waterfront view. Relax and share tales of the day's big one that didn't get away!
- 62 acre property: You can roam the 62 acres, exploring the history of the old cannery, giant beach, and hidden 40 foot waterfall and never leave the property.
When you think of an Alaska resort, you think of great food.
Saltery Lodge fulfills this promise and delivers fine cuisine cooked by your private chef, Steve McNabb.
You can choose your menu in advance from our wide selection. Steve is very personable and enjoys talking about the intricacies of the meal of the day.
You can choose to eat your meal inside our dining room with large windows overlooking the local wildlife, or even eating on our catamaran while on an evening cruise.
While the inside of the lodge is luxurious and the smell of dinner resonating through the fire-warmed great room is inviting,
Alaska is meant to be experienced outdoors as well. We know how to give you those great Alaska experiences.
It starts right outside the lodge where seals play, birds eat, bears hunt, and salmon swim up the stream on our property.
Walk back to the 40' tall waterfall, or hike around the property and examine the ruins from the cannery long ago.
Or travel the water in style and sightsee or fish for salmon and halibut.
If you would like, we can take you into our historic town and show you the sights with a private tour.
Staying at Saltery Lodge resort is the perfect gift to yourself and your family or friends. Come see what an Alaska resort experience should be.
