Our Vessels

Saltery Lodge has two fantastic charter vessels in our fleet. Each has its own advantages. No matter which boat you go on, you can be assured that you will have a great time and know that you are in one of southeast Alaska's finest boats. Both vessels have private inside heads (bathrooms) and heat to keep you warm when the days are cold. Our vessels feature walk-around deck, which means you can go to any side of the boat to see the action and not have to look through windows.

Captained by carefully screened and licensed USCG licensed captains, we assure that your family will be comfortable and entertained on your trip. Our guides know the area and are able to get you the fish, the great pictures and the experience of a lifetime.

I named our first boat after my daughters Sarah and Adriana, and called it "Sarana". I later found out, just when I thought I had made up a word, that Sarana is an Alaskan wildflower! So we decided to name all of our boats after Alaskan wildflowers.

Sarana

Sarana is a remarkable vessel. About 40 feet long, she is wide and stable, although not as fast as Linnaea. With a large interior cabin, she is comfortable to ride in. With the twin hulls, she is able to slice through the waves without pounding.

Linnaea

Linnaea is arguably one of the fastest six pac charter boats in the fleet. Able to get you to the fishing grounds without beating you up, she is just as nice to fish from as she is to look at. Her large back desk and walk-around sides make fishing enjoyable. Her heated cabin and enclosed head, make her a comfortable ride as well!
