Southeast Alaska Fishing

Saltery Lodge provides incredible southeast Alaska fishing vacation packages for small groups and families. Even though we are only about 25 miles from the extraordinary cruise ship port of Ketchikan, Alaska, we can only be reached via float plane or boat. This location creates a natural barrier between us and the rest of the world, giving you the peace, serenity and magnificent southeast Alaska fishing excursions. Our unique perks include not only the finest southeast Alaska fishing available, but also 62 acres of wilderness, world-class fine dining and beautifully decorated guest rooms.

It's no secret that southeast Alaska fishing is some of the best halibut and salmon fishing on the planet. However, what you might not know is that it's a world-class freshwater fishery as well. Saltery Lodge sits on 62 acres of crystal clear, trout and salmon bloated rivers, streams and lakes. We have U.S. Forest Service use permits, which provide us with virtually exclusive access to these fisheries. We also work with local float plane companies for those who like to fish where you will likely be the only anglers on the lake.

Another of our unique amenities is our high-end dining services. Our chef is amiable, family friendly and more than willing to chat with you about cooking or whatever's on your mind. You see, the dining room and the kitchen are open to each other so not only will you be able talk to the chef, you will also be able to take in all of the sights, smells and sounds of your meal while it's being prepared. At breakfast, lunch and dinner you can count on being pampered after your southeast Alaska fishing excursions.

There is no shortage of resorts and lodges up here in The Last Frontier; however, for a truly exhilarating, luxurious southeast Alaska fishing experience, come to Saltery Lodge. We have the best of both worlds here: extraordinary southeast Alaska fishing, both saltwater and freshwater; combined with myriad indulgent pleasures. Our belief is that an important part of the southeast Alaska fishing experience is to provide more than fishing. Here you can kayak down swift flowing wilderness streams, hike our 62-acre property and treat yourself to beautiful, individually prepared meals.
